OVERVIEW

Kirk Range Private Schools is expanding and invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, dedicated, and passionate individuals to fill the following positions:

TEACHING POSITIONS

PRIMARY TEACHERS (VAC-PT-KR-2026)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and records of work in alignment with the Primary School Curriculum.
  • Develop and use teaching aids and learning resources to enhance understanding and engagement, including charts, models, books, and digital tools.
  • Create a structured and disciplined classroom environment that fosters respect, focus, and a positive attitude toward learning.
  • Assess and monitor learners’ academic progress through classwork, homework, tests, and examinations; maintain accurate records and report outcomes to parents/guardians.
  • Support learners with diverse needs, including remedial instruction and inclusive education strategies.
  • Promote literacy and numeracy development through interactive reading, writing, and problem-solving activities.
  • Encourage critical thinking and creativity through project-based learning, group discussions, and practical exercises.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration to plan and implement school programs and activities.
  • Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and school events.
  • Prepare and submit academic and administrative reports in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated with curriculum changes and educational policies, and integrate them into teaching practices.

Requirements

  • Must possess a T2 Certificate & Registered with Teachers Council of Malawi.
  • At least 3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable primary school.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be honest and passionate about teaching children.

  • Certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
  • Copies of a valid National ID or Passport.
  • At least three traceable referees.
