PRINCIPAL
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking an exceptional leader who embodies integrity, inspires high performance, and demonstrates a deep commitment to values-based education. The ideal candidate must possess:
Academic Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized institution (a Master’s Degree will be an added advantage).
Professional Experience
At least five (5) years of proven experience in school leadership or a senior management role within a reputable secondary school.
Leadership Style
Disciplinary, self-motivated, and capable of fostering a culture of academic excellence and accountability among both staff and students.
Strategic Capability
Strongly focused on academic outcomes with a proven track record of improving student performance, supervising instructional staff, managing academic programs, and executing financial budgets.
Ethos Alignment
A person of strong Christian character, fully prepared to promote and uphold the spiritual ethos of the school.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide visionary leadership to staff and students in strict alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and foundational values.
- Promote and sustain high academic performance, continuous curriculum development, and holistic student growth.
- Ensure that discipline, character formation, and spiritual enrichment remain central to all facets of school life.
- Lead, manage, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching personnel effectively.
- Oversee daily school operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with national education policies.
- Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with parents, the community, and key corporate or ministry stakeholders.
- Provide visionary leadership to staff and students in strict alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and foundational values.
