Position: Production Supervisors

Location: Blantyre

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Organizing workflow to meet daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly deadlines.
• Team Leadership: Supervising, training, mentoring, and scheduling production staff.
• Quality Control: Monitoring production processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Safety Enforcement: Implementing and enforcing safety regulations, PPE usage, and conducting training to minimize workplace accidents.
• Operational Efficiency: Identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement strategies to reduce waste.
• Maintenance & Equipment: Monitoring machinery performance and coordinating maintenance with technicians.
• Reporting & Compliance: Documenting production metrics, inventory levels, and complying with company policies.

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

• Minimum of diploma in business management, engineering or a related field.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certifications may be advantageous.
• Minimum of previous 2 years’ experience as a production supervisor and a clean track record from a manufacturing company.
• Proficiency with manufacturing machinery, inventory management software and production scheduling tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
