Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the multiple vacant positions tenable at PBM Construction Offices in Area 43 Lilongwe. OPEN – 14.01.26. Deadline 20.01.26

POSITION: Quantity Surveyor

REPORTING TO: Contract Manager/ OD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
• Develop project budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budget.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities.
• Administer contracts, including variations and claims.
• Manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, Professional certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and construction software
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Knowledge of construction law and dispute resolution.
