ABOUT THE ROLE

Central Medical Stores Trust (CMST) is Malawi's premier public health supply chain institution, responsible for procuring, warehousing, and distributing quality medicines and medical supplies to all public health facilities nationwide.

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to ensure effective and efficient front office operations and project a favourable corporate image for the Trust.

If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional demeanour, and experience in front office management, this is your opportunity to be the first point of contact for a leading public health institution and contribute to Malawi's health sector.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Front Office Management, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and direct visitors, phone calls, and correspondence.
  • Report any security cases around the front office.
  • Check visitors in and out.
  • Attend to visitors' inquiries and complaints.
  • Report issues with phone lines.
  • Report any suspected abuses of phone lines.
  • Foster a favourable ambience of the front office.
