OVERVIEW

Sycamore Credit Limited is a growing microfinance institution dedicated to empowering small businesses and low-income individuals through accessible financial services. We are seeking Supervisors to oversee lending operations, ensure efficient loan disbursement and recovery, and support our Relationship Officers in achieving their targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support relationship officers in client recruitment, loan assessment, and disbursement.
  • Monitor loan repayments and ensure timely collections.
  • Conduct field visits to assess group performance and resolve challenges.
  • Provide training and mentorship to relationship officers and clients on credit management.
  • Analyse loan portfolio performance and prepare periodic reports.
  • Ensure compliance with the institution’s policies and lending procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor in microfinance and knowledge in lending methodology is a must, OR
  • 5 years working as a Loan Officer in a microfinance and knowledge in lending methodology is a must.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of group lending methodology and risk management.
  • Ability to work in rural areas and travel frequently.
  • Motorcycle riders’ licence is a requirement.
