NICO Life seeks to hire suitably qualified persons to provide Sales Agency services. These Sales Agents will be based in the following districts/towns and are required to cover these districts/towns and the surrounding areas:
Responsibilities or duties
- Prospecting and selling individual life insurance products that are in the product portfolio.
- Maintaining a record of premiums collected by him/her.
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with customers for business growth and retention.
- Ensuring that new business acquired will conform with the company’s quality and standards due to no premium, and that the new business acquired will conform with the company’s quality and standards.
- Attend a weekly performance meeting with the Team Leader.
- Achieving set targets and meeting company standards.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Be creative and innovative in the ever‑changing business environment.
- Be a self‑starter with a passion for sales and business development.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a good understanding of the Malawian business landscape.
- A goal getter with good interpersonal skills.
Experience needed
- At least Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- A Diploma in any business-related field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ sales experience.
- Those with experience in selling insurance products will have an added advantage.
