JOB DETAILS:

Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) has developed a Marketing Section under the Y Net Investments to oversee the sales and marketing component of the organisation. YONECO therefore needs the services of Sales and Marketing Executives in Zomba (covering Blantyre Zomba and entire southern region), Lilongwe and Mzuzu. YONECO Sales and Marketing Executives will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote a product, services or ideas for YONECO.

Reporting to the Business Development Officer and YFM Station Manager, the Sales and Marketing Executives manage and control the relationship between YONECO including YONECO FM and the target audience and clients. The marketing executive will plan advertising campaigns, find new buyers, and sell goods or services to increase revenue. The Sales and Marketing Executives are also expected to promote YONECO Radio (YFM), YONECO products and services to interested customers and beneficiaries.

Responsibilities or duties

Market research:

Studying market trends and checking what competitors do.

Campaign planning:

Helping create ads for social media, print, and digital channels.

Lead generation:

Finding new clients and building business relationships.

Sales execution:

Meeting clients, giving product presentations, and closing deals.

Reporting:

Tracking sales data and checking if marketing campaigns work.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field

Extensive experience in sales, marketing. advertising, and brand management

Experience in website design and content development; experience in copywriting

Digital marketing/advertising expertise

Experience crafting spreadsheets and other data collection/presentation methods

Extensive knowledge of current and relevant markets

Stellar written and oral communication skills
