REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Proven record of success in the relevant subject combinations
• Diploma or Degree in Education suitable for the above subjects
• Teachers with a proven record of producing good MANEB examination results will have an added advantage

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching and Lesson Management

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons based on curriculum standards
• Set clear learning objectives for learners
• Use different teaching methods and learning resources
• Incorporate technology and teaching materials where necessary
• Mark and provide feedback on assignments

Assessment and Learner Support

• Assess students through tests, examinations, and assignments
• Provide regular feedback on learner performance
• Prepare learners for examinations
• Maintain accurate academic records

Classroom Management

• Create a positive and orderly learning environment
• Support learners with different academic needs
• Ensure learner safety through safeguarding procedures

Professional Duties

• Attend staff meetings and training sessions
• Work with fellow teachers and school management
• Communicate with parents and guardians
• Participate in extracurricular activities
