OVERVIEW
MCHEREZO Christian Academy is inviting applications from qualified and committed teachers to join its secondary school in Chiole, Ntcheu.
The Academy provides holistic Christian education that combines academic excellence with biblical values and a Christian worldview. It is an open-enrolment school that welcomes students from all backgrounds while striving to glorify God through education.
MCHEREZO Christian Academy is one of the programmes of MALO A MCHEREZO, a childcare organisation that provides holistic support to underprivileged children.
The Academy is looking for teachers who see teaching as a calling, are passionate about mentoring young people, and are committed to being positive Christian role models.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Diploma in Education.
- Registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM).
- A committed Christian who shares the Academy's vision and values.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Willingness to mentor students and positively influence their lives.
- Ready to participate in regular in-service professional development training.
- Able to apply constructive feedback to improve classroom practice.
- Proactive, diligent, and committed to serving both God and young people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach Languages and/or Science subjects effectively.
- Deliver engaging and motivating lessons.
- Mentor students and serve as a reliable Christian role model.
- Integrate biblical values and a Christian worldview into teaching.
- Support students in improving their English proficiency across subjects.
- Participate in professional development and continuous learning.
- Contribute to preparing students for purposeful lives that benefit their communities.
- Teach Languages and/or Science subjects effectively.
