Secondary School Teachers (4 Positions)

Position Overview

The Board is seeking suitably qualified, committed, and dependable Secondary School Teachers who will be responsible for delivering quality instruction, providing effective teaching, and supporting the academic, social, and moral development of learners.

Requirements

• Must possess a Degree or Diploma in Education from a well-recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM).
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be honest, disciplined, hardworking, and committed to professional ethics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and other teaching materials.
• Assessing and monitoring learners' academic performance and providing appropriate feedback.
• Maintaining learner discipline and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Maintaining accurate records of learners' attendance, progress, and assessment results.
• Participating in co-curricular and extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school management to enhance learner achievement.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the School Administration.

Terms and Conditions

• Employment Status: Immediate Engagement
• Basic Monthly Salary: K400,000.00

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
