Kingdom Builders Academy is a Christian oriented school situated in Zomba Urban near Chnamwali Trading Centre. It is a dynamic and innovative secondary school dedicated to providing a high-quality education to our diverse student body. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Secondary School Teacher to teach languages, Humanities and Sciences in form 1 to form 4. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to student development, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with established curriculum objectives.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
  • Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
  • Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance and development.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
  • Manage student behaviour in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs, student organizations, and sports.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and school activities.
  • Stay updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources, and methods.

Qualifications or requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Proficient in the use of technology and digital learning tools
  • Registered with Teachers Council of Malawi.

Experience needed

  • Proven experience as a Secondary School Teacher.
