Electricity Generation Company (MW) Ltd
Tenable in the company at the Head Office, Chayamba Building – Blantyre, this post reports to the Procurement & Disposal of Asset Manager.
Responsibilities or duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office.
- Coordinate and schedule daily meetings, appointments, and activities for the Procurement Department.
- Support meetings by preparing agendas, taking accurate minutes, and following up on action items.
- Ensure all communications originating from the Procurement Department are clear, professional, and of high quality.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, reports, and correspondence
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of Purchase Orders, Quotations, and Tender documents.
- Maintain and regularly update supplier databases and contact lists.
- Support the procurement team in bid evaluations, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Monitor and ensure all procurement documentation complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time
Qualifications or requirements
- Holder of MSCE with Credit in English
- Holder of Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Diploma in Secretarial Management
Experience needed
Proven 3 years of working experience as Secretary to a Senior Manager.

High Level of Integrity and confidentiality.
Strong organizing, planning and time management skills
Should be aged between 25 and 40.
