About Us
We are continuing to expand our Lodge and Restaurant in Nkhatabay. Ndau Lodge offers a blend of European and Malawian influences on the shores of Lake Malawi. Our “Mango” lakeside restaurant caters for in-house guests and day guests alike. Our owners are culinary ambitious, and as such we have fast created ourselves a highly regarded reputation for traditional, international cuisine and an excellent service to our clients.
If you are a passionate and organised Chef, we want to hear from you.
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as a chef
- Diploma in culinary skills / hospitality management
- Passion for creating excellent food
- Leadership skills and shift management experience
- Experience of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Experience of ordering all kitchen requirements
- Experience of creativity and menu planning
- Excellent communication, multitasking and teamwork skills
- Pastry chef experience an advantage
