Background

BESPAT Construction Limited was established and registered as a general works contractor in both Building and Civil Engineering Category with Construction Industry Regulation Authority (CIRA). Over the years, the company has undertaken many challenging projects and accumulated skills, technical know-how and experiences in design of building and civil solutions, project management services, building trades and related Engineering works. Our objective is to provide our clients with an “I am assured” experience when chosen to execute the projects.

We are now looking for an experienced Site Agent to join a team of experts to support the growth of this business. He/she shall report operationally to the Head of Construction business and strategically to the Managing Director.

Job Summary

The Site Agent is responsible for managing and overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise construction activities
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor site progress against the project programme
  • Lead and manage site staff, subcontractors, and operatives
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and consultants
  • Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions where required
  • Manage materials, plant, and resources efficiently
  • Prepare site reports, records, and documentation
  • Identify and resolve site issues, delays, or technical challenges
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or in a similar site management role
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and regulations
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery
  • Proficient in site documentation and reporting

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, site-based role
  • May involve working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
  • Occasional extended hours depending on project requirements
