SITE QUALITY ASSURANCE/ QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC) INSPECTOR

Reporting to the Site Construction Manager, you will:

  • Manage and assist contractors with on-site inspections.
  • Witness and perform NDT inspections, ensuring compliance with international standards.
  • Review method statements and quality documentation.
  • Report defects, supervise corrective actions, and ensure repair procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate with process engineers and commissioning teams for correct installation of piping and equipment.
  • Facilitate project handovers with accurate documentation and operator readiness.
  • Uphold SHEQ standards and support safe site practices

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Recognised QA/QC inspection qualifications.
  • 8 years + multidisciplinary QC experience across civil, mechanical, geotechnical, and welding inspection.
  • Certifications including Inspector Levels 1 &
  • Proven track record on major projects
  • Strong expertise in NDT techniques (MPI, LPI, RT, HT, UT, PI) and compliance with welding/fabrication standards.
  • Experience in risk management, contractor coordination, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of planning, commissioning, and project handovers
  • Understanding of SHE principles, mentoring, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Eligibility:

Only Malawian Citizens will be considered. Candidates must be eligible to work in Malawi. Candidates will be asked to complete a National Police Clearance prior to employment.
