Background

Vision Paint & Building Services (VPBS) is seeking an experienced and hands-on site supervisor/foreman to coordinate daily site activities and ensure construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction and building activities.
• Coordinate skilled workers, artisans, and general laborers.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
• Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Monitor workmanship and quality of completed work.
• Control the use and handling of construction materials and equipment.
• Monitor site safety and ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
• Report daily progress, challenges, material requirements, and site issues.
• Coordinate with the project manager and other site personnel.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the construction site.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical and operational issues.

Requirements

• Certificate, trade test, diploma, or equivalent qualification in building, construction, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in construction site supervision or foreman duties.
• Practical knowledge of building and construction activities.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise construction workers.
• Ability to interpret basic construction drawings and measurements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of construction safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Experience in painting, masonry, tiling, concrete works or building maintenance will be an advantage.
