ABOUT THE ROLE

AHFB (Africa Health Funding Bridge) is seeking a capable software developer to join an early-stage digital product development project.

You will take a product from concept through to a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP), with technical collaboration from an experienced technology specialist. The project will be developed iteratively from MVP to a scalable product.

This role is suited for someone who can build, can think, and can take ownership, with a passion for building innovative technology solutions for African markets.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Strong practical software development skills.
• Experience building web and/or mobile applications.
• Database and API experience.
• Good understanding of user authentication and dashboards.
• Ability to design and build clean, functional interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of development.
• Interest in building innovative technology solutions for African markets.
• A degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is an advantage — but demonstrated ability and a strong portfolio are more important.
