Job Summary

To operate a TLB truck safely and efficiently for the transportation of materials such as sand, quarry, soil and debris while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a tipper truck for delivery and collection of construction materials.
• Ensure materials are transported safely without spillage or damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (brakes, tyres, oil, lights, fuel e.t.c).
• Load and offload materials in coordination with site personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage and mileage.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and occupational health and safety standards.
• Report accidents, breakdowns and mechanical faults promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure it is serviced regularly.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and dispatch teams.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Malawi School Certificate of Education or its equivalent.
• Valid Malawian driver’s licence (appropriate heavy duty category Class C or G).
• Atleast 2-5 years proven experience operating a tipper truck or heavy vehicle.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences.
