Responsibilities

• Provide Agriculture Management with technical advice on precision processes to sustain and improve sugarcane production.
• Drive the modernization and optimization of farming systems through new engineering innovations to improve yield and production costs.
• Support the adoption and embedding of agreed precision agriculture standards, frameworks, and processes across all farms.
• Offer specialized engineering support and advice to Grower organizations.
• Direct the implementation of key activities, including surveying, variable rate application, land use planning, drainage, land preparation, and mechanized ratoon maintenance.
• Manage the selection, design, and coordination of maintenance systems for precision agriculture equipment to ensure reliability.
• Ensure all activities strictly adhere to company policies, including SHERQ, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and Competition Law.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical mechanization specialist.
• Good business acumen and agricultural engineering expertise, with ability to anticipate and interpret changes impacting on functional area.
