Role Summary
Support data management at health center level through accurate collection, entry, validation, and timely reporting in line with AHF and national standards.
Key Duties
- Maintain accurate, complete, and secure HIV program records
- Perform data entry, filing, archiving, and retrieval for electronic and paper systems
- Ensure availability and use of standardized data collection and reporting tools
- Compile and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and benchmark reports
- Capture and update data in EMRs, web-based systems, and Excel databases
- Track missed appointments and defaulters to strengthen tracing and retention
- Monitor HIV-positive clients by documenting referrals and tracking linkage and treatment outcomes
- Provide technical support to facilities on data processes
- Participate in data review meetings for verification and quality improvement
Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Information Management, Data Processing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in data entry/data management, preferably in HIV/AIDS or public health programs
- Certification in Data Management or Information Processing is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Word
- ≥99% data accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to data quality standards
- Knowledge of HIV program indicators and familiarity with EMRs, HMIS, or DHIS2 is an added advantage
- High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive health data.
