Welding Technician (1 position)

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect welded structures and components for quality, strength, and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Repair damaged or faulty metal parts and structures as required.
• Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Minimum requirements:

• Diploma / Grade 1/TEVET Level III.
• Minimum of 4 years of wide experience in the relevant field.
• Able to work with low supervision and be goal-oriented.
• Those with a Driving Licence have an added advantage.
• Ready to report to the Lilongwe Office.
