Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer, based in Lilongwe. The Back End Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, developing robust APIs, and ensuring seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems. Other responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing application performance, and ensuring high standards of software security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Familiarity with Front-End Development for seamless backend and frontend integration
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Experience with database management and APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms and an understanding of software security best practices is a plus
