Core Responsibilities

Drink Preparation: Mixing ingredients, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or guest requests.

Customer Service: Greeting guests, making recommendations, and creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

Bar Maintenance:Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the bar area, including washing glassware and disposing of trash

Inventory & Stocking: Monitoring, restocking, and organizing inventory (liquor, mixers, garnishes) and notifying management of shortages.

Cash Handling: Processing payments, managing tabs, and balancing the cash drawer.

Operational Duties

Opening/Closing: Setting up or breaking down the bar, including cleaning equipment and restocking for the next shift.

Team Collaboration: Coordinating with waitstaff to fulfill orders efficiently.

Menu Knowledge: Staying updated on drink specials, cocktails, beer, and wine.

Essential Skills

• Multitasking & Speed: Working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Communication: Engaging with customers and working well with team members.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Technical Proficiency: Operating POS systems and, in some cases, crafting complex, artistic cocktails
• 4pm investments is situated in Lilongwe bypass and it does not provide additional transport apart from the agreed package
