Role and Responsibilities

Reporting To: Lodge Manager

The Barman will be responsible for delivering excellent beverage service and ensuring a high-quality guest experience.

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Plan, maintain, and present the bar menu
• Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Maintain a guest-focused approach and ensure excellent customer service
• Comply with all food and beverage safety and regulatory standards
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Bartender
• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language will be an added advantage
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, well-stocked, and clean
• Relevant training certificate
