Role and Responsibilities
Reporting To: Lodge Manager
The Barman will be responsible for delivering excellent beverage service and ensuring a high-quality guest experience.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Plan, maintain, and present the bar menu
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain a guest-focused approach and ensure excellent customer service
- Comply with all food and beverage safety and regulatory standards
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Bartender
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language will be an added advantage
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, well-stocked, and clean
- Relevant training certificate

- Strong interpersonal skills
- High level of communication skills
