OVERVIEW
Citizen Real Estate Company Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, and experienced individuals to fill the position of Branch Manager for its Blantyre Branch.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Branch Manager will be responsible for providing overall leadership, direction, supervision, and operational management of the Blantyre Branch. The successful candidate will drive the branch’s vision, oversee day-to-day operations, ensure staff productivity, and make certain that departmental goals and sales targets are achieved effectively and efficiently.
The role requires a decisive, disciplined, and results-oriented individual capable of managing people, enforcing company policies, and ensuring smooth branch operations.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the branch.
- Drive the branch’s vision, growth, and performance objectives.
- Supervise and manage all branch employees including surveyors, marketers, administrators, and other support staff.
- Ensure all departments and employees meet their assigned goals, targets, and deadlines.
- Monitor staff productivity, discipline, professionalism, and effectiveness.
- Make sound operational decisions and ensure implementation of the same.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee plot sales operations, customer relations, and field activities.
- Handle negotiations with clients, stakeholders, landowners, and partners where necessary.
- Prepare operational, sales, and performance reports for management.
- Ensure proper coordination and communication within the branch.
- Resolve conflicts, challenges, and operational issues professionally and effectively.
- Represent the company professionally in meetings and engagements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must possess:
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Land Management or Quantity Surveying Or any other related field.
- Proven experience in management, administration, sales, or operations.
- Previous experience in real estate or land-related operations will be an added advantage.
REQUIRED QUALITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Applicants must:
- Be 35 years and above.
- Be mature, responsible, and of sound mind and judgment.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
- Have strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.
- Be capable of enforcing decisions and maintaining discipline at the workplace.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be highly organised, proactive, and results-driven.
- Be able to work under pressure and meet operational targets.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
