We invite interested individuals with expertise in the below fields to submit their interest for potential future engagements.

Desired Fields of Expertise:

  • Health technology management advocacy and policy

  • Medical device regulation and standards
  • New product introduction
  • Capacity building and training for BMEs and other healthcare workers
  • Stakeholder engagement with Ministries of Health and professional associations

The specific scope of work for each consultancy will vary, but may include:

  • Providing technical advice on budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of medical devices.
  • Conducting assessments of existing HTM systems and developing improvement strategies.
  • Drafting simplified medical equipment guidelines and policies.
  • Supporting strategic engagement with professional societies.
  • Providing expert input on the review and dissemination of national medical device policies.
  • Designing and delivering training sessions to enhance the skills of biomedical engineers and other staff.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • An advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in health technology management, biomedical engineering or device marketing and distribution preferably in low-resource settings.

Note: This is a general call for expressions of interest to be included in our consultant roster. Successful applicants will be contacted for Scope of Work (SOW) as and when opportunities arise. Inclusion on the roster does not guarantee a contract.
