CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR
Bwaila CCAP is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons with a solid background in Office Management and Administration to fill the position of Church Administrator.
JOB PURPOSE
The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the mission and vision of the Church by providing efficient administrative support and fostering a welcoming environment for all who interact with the church office. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to details, and the ability to multitask.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the smooth operation of the church office
- Manage office staff and volunteers
- Maintain and update church records and confidential files
- Provide administrative support for church events and activities
- Handle correspondence and communication
- Prepare reports and assist with budgeting
- Order and manage office supplies
- Support church leadership with administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with church policies and procedures
- Serve as point of contact for congregation members
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field
- Proven experience in office management or administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with office software (e.g. Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Word), and office equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming demeanour
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Conversant with CCAP beliefs, CCAP traditions and practices
- Minimum 5 year’s experience in a similar position
