Kindness Acts Campsites

Cleaner Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize the restaurant, kitchen, outdoor dining spaces, washrooms, and surrounding campsite areas
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain cleanliness of floors, furniture, windows, and common areas
  • Wash kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, and serving equipment as required
  • Ensure waste is collected and disposed of properly to maintain a clean campsite environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation and storage areas
  • Refill cleaning and sanitation supplies when needed
  • Support compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or shortages of cleaning materials to management
  • Assist with cleaning before, during, and after campsite events and guest activities
  • Properly store cleaning equipment and chemicals after use
  • Ensure outdoor guest areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming at all times
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by management

Qualification and experience.

  • Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
  • Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or sanitation services will be an added advantage
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Hardworking, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and time management skills
