Background

A reputable primary school operating at the former Stance Private School campus in Area 23 invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions:

CLEANER

Job Purpose

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and orderly environment throughout the school premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, staff areas, corridors, halls, washrooms, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, scrub, and disinfect surfaces as required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in areas used by pupils and staff.
• Clean and maintain washrooms and sanitation facilities.
• Empty and appropriately dispose of waste.
• Use cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Replenish soap, tissue, and other hygiene supplies as required.
• Report damaged facilities, spills, hazards, or maintenance issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and other assigned spaces.
• Assist with deep cleaning before or after school events and during school holidays where required.
• Follow appropriate health, safety, hygiene, and infection prevention procedures.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of pupils and staff.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Basic education and relevant cleaning experience.
• Previous experience in a school, institutional, or commercial cleaning environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and hygiene practices.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning materials and equipment.
• Reliability, honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Suitable references.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
