JOB DETAILS:

POSITION: Clinical Officer

Job Summary:
The Clinical Officer is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while providing preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services during the locum assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Examine and diagnose patients.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
• Perform minor medical procedures within scope of practice.
• Refer complex cases to appropriate healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Promote health education and disease prevention.
• Adhere to clinical and ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi or relevant professional regulatory body.
• Valid practicing license.
• Previous clinical experience is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

Preferred Location:
