Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ACADES’ communications and visibility strategy to strengthen organisational brand and visibility.
  • Produce and manage high-quality content across digital and traditional platforms, including the website, social media, newsletters, publications, and multimedia.
  • Lead media, donor, partner, and stakeholder communications, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
  • Support fundraising and program teams with compelling communications, branding, and proposal development.
  • Monitor communications performance, prepare analytical reports, and supervise communications staff, consultants, and service providers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least four (4) years’ relevant communications experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience in the NGO, development, or public sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and digital communication skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in graphic design and the ability to produce high-quality visual communication materials is an added advantage.
