Financial Management

• Manage the Mudi SACCO’s budget and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Work with SACCO management to identify and implement follow-up actions when necessary.
• Manage timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions.
• Ensure compliance with SACCO policies and procedures and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure the effective and efficient stewardship of SACCO’s assets and financial resources.
• Manage SACCO audits and ensure that audit findings recommendations are addressed and implemented.

Business Operations

• Report on SACCO’s performance and metric achievement.
• Supports efforts to improve operation efficiencies, effectiveness, and alignment.
• Recommend changes in business processes and structure as needed and oversee internal control processes.
• Support the management of standards related to operational and financial management.
• Ensure operation roles, responsibilities and workflows are clear and enhance member service.
• Support the contracting of all consultants and contract management
• Assist in the identifying and addressing issues of high risk.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Grants and Contract Management

Create and maintain accurate database for all grants and contracts

Qualification & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or related field
• Studying professional levels of ACCA and /or member of ACCA/ICAM
• 3–5 years related work experience
