Responsibilities or duties

To mobilize community and set up food /cash distribution according to accomplished World Vision standards and procedures and provide end user monitoring and accurate documentation on all commodity distributions.

A. Food Management and distribution

  • Liaise with communities on distribution planning
  • Distribute all the food/cash entrusted to registered beneficiaries
  • Conduct the distribution of food/cash to the registered beneficiaries through LMMS
  • Liaise with communities and other stakeholder to ensure food/cash distribution is running smoothly
  • Prepare Distribution Center Visit Reports after every distribution.

B. Project Monitoring,

  • Collection of project documents and forms from FDPs and send them to the District Coordinator for the preparation of the monthly distribution plans for every community.
  • Supervise any project progress at community and prepare reports to the District coordinator
  • Based on the distribution plan for each site, submit food request for approval by District Coordinator
  • Review the master beneficiary list and make sure it is also the same as the beneficiary list.
  • Make sure that distributions are carried out according to the Food/cash ration scales approved. Beneficiaries must sign or thumb print against their names on the beneficiary lists as proof that they received the food rations.

Field activities conducted successfully and risk mitigated

Field activities run in a standardized manner that is consistent with donor requirements

Coordinate all sectors in the project for effective and efficient use of the response for greater impact at community level

C Project Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate reports which reflect the true picture of the food assistance in the community are prepared and submitted to District Coordinator.
  • Ensure all community food distribution reports –Daily, Weekly, monthly, quarterly and EoP are submitted in time
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly narrative reports as per the agreed scheduled with SOs and Donor.
  • All required reports are prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Reports are accurate and complete all the time
  • Reports are accurate and complete all the time
  • Ensure that all forms and records are completed and updated periodically as required by Commodity handling procedures
  • Proper accounting of all quantities of food received and distributed at each center.
  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time

D Coordination and networking

  • Organize community meeting to discuss project implementation procedures and processes as well as challenges and solution.
  • In charge of all food/cash programming i.e. Community monitoring Gender, Protection and Nutrition.
  • Consolidate feedback and action points from different sectors for WV management response and action.

There is good coordination and partnership across all stakeholders in the community participating in food assistance activities.
