Role Purpose:
Transform abstract ideas, data, and concepts into powerful visual and audio-visual systems that communicate SMAAC’s innovation, operations, and ambition with clarity, originality, and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-impact visual assets for web, print, social media, presentations, reports, and multimedia platforms
- Translate complex operational, technical, and strategic information into clear visual narratives
- Develop and evolve SMAAC’s visual identity, design systems, and brand language
- Produce and support basic audio-visual content (motion graphics, short videos, visual overlays) where required
- Collaborate closely with technical, commercial, and leadership teams to surface ideas visually
- Rapidly prototype concepts, iterate designs, and adapt outputs under tight timelines and ambiguity
- Challenge conventional aesthetics and propose original, future-facing visual solutions aligned to SMAAC’s ethos
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent professional design tools
- Ability to produce high quality audio and video footage for commercial purposes
- Working knowledge of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to design across multiple formats while maintaining consistency and brand integrity
- Exposure to motion graphics, video editing, or audio-visual tools is an added advantage
- Strong conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, and problem-solving capability
