Zomba Diocese Health Commission operates under the Social Directorate of the Catholic Diocese of Zomba. Its mission is to advance the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by promoting human life and providing preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services in a holistic manner. This is achieved through participation in collaborative networks and partnerships, aligned with the needs and capacities of the communities, and in accordance with Catholic core values and principles, to ensure the delivery of the high- quality services, the Commission is seeking to recruit motivated and experienced individuals for the following vacant positions at one of its health facilities St. Robert Health Centre (Sitima).

Responsibilities or duties

  • Conducting dump dusting in the wards including nurses station
  • Collecting and delivering ordered drug from the pharmacy
  • Delivering blood and other samples to laboratory and remember to collect the same
  • Maintains ward cleanliness by ensuring that the wards are thoroughly mopped
  • Dispose all wastes and consequently burn the required wastes in the incinerator
  • Escorting referred cases to referral units
  • Perform any other duties deemed reasonable to the post

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Malawi School Certificate of Education
