VACANCY: Human Resources & Organisational Development (HR & OD) Manager

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

Position Type: Full-Time

Ziweto Enterprises Limited, a fast-growing agribusiness operating a network of 25 agrovet shops, a feed mill, and poultry production businesses, is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Organisational Development (HR & OD) Manager to lead its people and organisational effectiveness agenda.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations while driving organisational development, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, and culture transformation across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance
  • Design and implement performance management systems
  • Drive organisational structure and workforce effectiveness improvements
  • Develop leadership and staff capacity-building programmes
  • Support employee engagement and organisational culture initiatives
  • Produce HR analytics and workforce performance reports

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR management, organisational development, or a related role
  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, agribusiness, or FMCG environments is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, performance management, and organisational development practices
