Torrent Plant & Vehicle Hire (TPVH), a member of the Beehive Group, invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified and experienced companies or individual professionals to provide independent valuation services for its plant and equipment fleet.

This exercise forms part of an approved equipment disposal and restructuring process, conducted in line with TPVH’s governance and procurement framework.

Scope of Services

The selected valuer(s) will be required to:

  • Conduct physical inspection of construction, logistics and earth-moving equipment;
  • Determine the following values for each asset:
    • Open Market Value (OMV)
    • Forced Sale Value (FSV)
    • Export / Regional indicative value (including South Africa market);
  • Provide recommendations on appropriate disposal channels (local sale, export, auction, or broker);
  • Submit a comprehensive written valuation report, including supporting market data.

Minimum Requirements

Interested applicants must demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in valuation of heavy plant and construction equipment;
  • Strong understanding of Malawi and regional (SADC) equipment markets;
  • Independence and absence of conflict of interest;
  • Capacity to undertake inspections within Malawi within a defined timeframe.

Both registered firms and experienced individual valuers are encouraged to apply.

  • Company / Individual profile
  • Summary of relevant experience
  • CV(s) of key personnel
  • Proposed methodology and timeline
  • Fee proposal
  • Proof of registration and tax compliance (where applicable)
