JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE

Supporting the Head, Legal and Compliance in regulatory compliance matters and responsibilities. The position shall be for a fixed 1-year period, with the possibility of renewal depending on performance and conduct.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from a recognized institution
• Admitted to the Malawian Bar
• Valid license to practice
• 1 to 2 years of experience in active litigation
• Experience in compliance management will be an added advantage

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Computer literacy
• Ability to manage documents electronically
• Understanding of the financial services industry
• Keen interest in learning to manage compliance through an electronic compliance management system
• Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Self-starter
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
