Key Responsibilities

Monitor and follow up on each truck trip from the dispatch office to the customer’s destination and back to the dispatch office.

Monitor GPS alerts, including unauthorized stoppages, excessive speeding, and power interruptions or cut-offs.

Report all incidents, alerts, and other irregularities to management for appropriate action.

Monitor internal CCTV footage to identify and report any security incidents or suspicious activities.

Prepare daily reports indicating the location of each truck and the reasons for any stoppages or delays.

Report faulty GPS devices, equipment malfunctions, and other tracking-related issues to the relevant suppliers and supervisors.

Receive, verify, and follow up on drivers’ reports concerning delays, stoppages, breakdowns, and other incidents occurring during transit.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

A certificate or diploma in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field would be an added advantage.

Computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
