Background

Shayona Cement Corporation, a production corporation in Lilongwe, is urgently seeking an efficient Logistics GPS Clerk to ensure timely services of GPS tracking of trucks under the Logistics Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up each trip from dispatch office up to customer place and way back to the end of the trip
• Receive and follow up GPS alerts: stoppages, over speeding, power cut off and report to superiors for necessary action
• Make daily report where every truck location is identified with a reason and report to management
• Report faulty devices and other matters to GPS supplier so that all matters are worked on in time
• Receive drivers report when matters arise that cause delays/stoppages while the driver is in transit
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in related field of Logistics
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
• Computer Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in GPS trucking logistics will be an added advantage
