Background

Linga FM Radio, a national radio station committed to informative, educative and entertaining programming, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates to fill the position of Marketing Executive.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to grow station revenue
• Lead and supervise the marketing and sales team
• Prepare marketing proposals, rate cards and sales reports
• Source, negotiate and manage advertising clients and partnerships
• Promote Linga FM programmes, events and brand visibility
• Coordinate promotions and outside broadcasts
• Maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies and stakeholders
• Set, manage, and achieve station revenue targets
• Prepare strategic marketing and revenue reports for management

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing or sales (media experience is an added advantage)
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Self-driven, target-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of the Malawian media and advertising market is desirable
