Mily’s Garden Lounge is one of Lilongwe’s most exciting fusion dining & lifestyle destinations. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, results-driven marketing & social media officer to lead our brand presence and grow our audience online and offline.
Position Overview
As our Marketing & Social Media Officer, you will be the voice, image, and digital heartbeat of Mily’s Garden Lounge. You’ll create compelling content, manage campaigns, engage with our community, and drive brand visibility across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and other relevant platforms
- Create engaging daily content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and captions
- Plan and execute social media calendars and campaigns
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and audience engagement to keep the brand relevant and exciting
Content Creation & Branding
- Develop visually appealing marketing materials, menus, posters, and promotional graphics
- Maintain a consistent brand identity and tone across all channels
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of food, drinks, events, and the lounge atmosphere
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, special events, and seasonal marketing initiatives
- Coordinate influencer collaborations, partnerships, and community engagement activities
- Assist in organizing launches, themed nights, and promotional events
Event & Community Engagement
- Assist in organizing and promoting lounge events, launches, and special experiences.
- Represent the brand at community events and networking opportunities.
- Help create a strong and loyal customer community around the Mily’s Garden Lounge lifestyle.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media performance, engagement, and campaign results
- Provide regular reports and insights to improve marketing strategies
- Use data-driven approaches to increase reach, bookings, and customer engagement
Customer Engagement & Reputation Management
- Respond to messages, comments, and online inquiries professionally and promptly
- Monitor online reviews and help maintain a positive brand reputation
- Build strong relationships with customers and online communities
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or hospitality marketing
- Strong content creation skills (photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting)
- Knowledge of social media tools, scheduling platforms, and analytics
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and branding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality, lifestyle, food, and entertainment brands is a big advantage
