JOB DETAILS:

The University of Malawi invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions at the University. The positions are tenable in various departments of the University, as specified below.

Responsibilities or duties

• Taking vital signs
• Administering and monitoring medications
• Providing nursing care to clients, including counselling of patients and guardians
• Facilitating the introduction of staff and students’ medical schemes
• Implementing community outreach programmes
• Organizing and implementing training programmes on health-related matters
• Maintaining clients and patients’ data, including drugs and supplies
• Recommending re-order and disposal of drugs and medical supplies

Qualifications or requirements 

Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.

Member of the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.

Experience needed

3 years of relevant work experience.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: associate degree
