JOB DETAILS:

POSITION: Pharmacist

Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, and offering medication counseling to patients during the locum assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, and possible side effects.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA) or relevant regulatory body.
• Valid practicing license.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an added advantage.

Preferred Location:

Applicants should preferably reside in Airwing or nearby areas, including Chitipi, Njewa, Mtandire, and Msiliza.
