Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the existing following vacant posts in the Parliamentary Service.

Responsibilities or duties

a) Participates in the formulation, review, and implementation of institutional policies.

b) Monitors policy implementation and assess outcomes.

c) Assists in the preparation and review of Parliament's Strategic Plan.

d) Supports departments in developing and monitoring annual work plans

e) Organises quarterly, annual, and ad hoc performance reports.

f) Prepares policy papers, planning reports, concept notes, and briefing documents.

g) Supports programme-based budgeting and resource planning.

h) Assists in the collaboration with government ministries, development partners, and other stakeholders on planning-related matters.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

A Bachelor's Degree in Economics or another closely related discipline

Experience needed

two (2) years' relevant work experience in policy analysis, strategic planning or programming planning and management. Applicants with demonstrated experience in policy development and strategic planning processes in public institutions will have an added advantage.
