Barloworld Equipment also holds full ownership of the main dealership on the Iberian Peninsula and joint partnerships in Eastern Russia and Siberia dealerships.

POWER SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN – LILONGWE GG09

OUTPUTS:

• Perform planned and breakdown repairs, services and maintenance on Earthmoving equipment and components to supplier standards and customer requirements
• Diagnose and carry out repairs, service and maintenance on earthmoving equipment/ components
• Remove and install components
• Ensure safe work practices
• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports
• Effective self-management and performance ownership

REQUIREMENTS OF CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
• Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic technical report writing
• Basic business and financial understanding
• Some Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
• Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Applicable product knowledge
• Drivers licence – Code
• Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures.
