CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:
PRESTIGE CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICERS (2)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill two (2) positions of Prestige Customer Service Officers, tenable at Blantyre and Mzuzu Offices, at Grade 4B.
Reporting to the Prestige Relationship Manager, the successful candidates will support Relationship Managers and manage customer requirements, acquisitions and selling the bank’s products and services to existing and and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Customer account opening end-to-end.
- Ensure customers’ cards are received, activated and delivered within set timelines.
- Onboard customers on the Mobile App and Internet Banking.
- Assist customers with account management, activation and other related issues.
- Manage and ensure all operational requirements are addressed
- Ensure deferrals are addressed as required, assist in collection of relevant client information for client KYC due diligence.
- Prepare credit proposals.
- Coordinate networks for leads and prospects, focusing on building and growing the prospect list.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and sales leads and retain quality clients and grow client base with emphasis on quality.

- Good interpersonal relationship skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Effective Problem-solving skills.
- Good Communication and presentation skills.
- Strong Analytical and Judgement skills.
- Attention to detail.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any business-related field obtained from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Banking dealing in relationship management or marketing/selling.
