We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following position: – Process Supervisor – Clinker Production

Job Purpose

To operate, monitor, and optimize cement clinker production processes including raw material reclaiming, raw grinding (VRM/Ball Mill), kiln operation, and clinker cooling. The role ensures safe operations, consistent clinker quality, high productivity, and efficient energy use.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor stacker, reclaimer, conveyors, weigh feeders, and metal detectors to ensure consistent raw material flow and quality
• Supervise raw mill operations (VRM/Ball Mill), monitoring vibration, temperature, lubrication, and wear parts
• Monitor and control preheater and kiln operations to meet clinker quality targets (LSF, SM, AM, free lime)
• Respond to kiln upsets and emergencies while minimizing stoppages, coating loss, and refractory damage
• Oversee clinker cooler performance to ensure efficient cooling, heat recovery, and minimal dust losses
• Coordinate hot air supply to kiln and coal mill
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, and environmental compliance
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams on maintenance activities
• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and shift handovers

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field)
• Experience in clinker production or pyro-processing operations
• Strong knowledge of kiln, preheater, raw mill, and clinker cooler operations
• Willingness to work shifts in an industrial environment
