Responsibilities or duties
- Conduct assessments to understand clients’ needs and provide tailored psychosocial support. This includes offering counseling to individuals, families, and groups dealing with emotional and psychological issues.
- Manage cases by developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs
- Provide immediate support and intervention during crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and social services, to coordinate care and resources for clients.
- Educate clients about mental health issues and available resources, and advocate for their needs within the community and healthcare systems.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or any relevant field from an accredited institution; This position is strictly for female applicants.
